08/02/2012 - PayPal payment option
Owners are advised that card payments can be made through the payments page on this website. We have introduced a £5.00 surcharge to cover the administration costs levied by PayPal.

Owners may find it more efficent to pay by internet banking or BACS.

08/02/2012 - Service charge for 2012 remains unchanged
The directors are delighted to announce that the service charge for 2012 will remain unchanged at £800.00. The service charge has been held at this level for the fourth conseutive year. The directors are fully aware of financial constraints facing owners. Further management efficiencies and control of costs are responsible.
Invoices will be issued shortly to owners. A range of payment options are available including an early payment discount. Details to follow.

08/02/2012 - 2012 AGM - Date arranged
The 2012 AGM will be held on April 18th at Chorley Cricket Club, Sandringham Road, Chorley commencing 8.00pm.
Formal notice will follow and the agenda and supporting meeting documents will be posted here nearer the time.

08/02/2012 - New notice boards
We have provided notice boards in each lobby area so we can provide updated information bespokely to each block/stairwell. 
The first notification will be the promotion of this website.
Please feel free to contact us through the contact page - we can then use your email address to advise of updates and to share important maintenance and management information.

13/01/2012 - Sky TV service
Normal service resumed last night at Alma Wood Close. Please advise if there are any continuing problems. 
12/01/2012 - Service Charge Arrears

We have finally received a payment in excess of £3000 from the mortgagee (building society) of one owner. The Directors have asked for this posting to be made to remind all owners that the success of the site depends on the timely contribuiton of everyone. Long term arrears and non payments cannot be allowed and as this case shows recovery of the service charge, costs and interest will be persued to the end however long that may be.


07/01/2012 - Storm damage
More fencing down to the rear of Sycamore House. Re-instatement will follow. Slipped roof tile at lower Alma Wood block reported to roofing contractor. 
06/01/2012 - Sky TV

Our engineer has identified the problem causing the interruption to Sky TV (not Sky+) services at Alma Wood Close. The requisite parts have been ordered and the service is expected to be reconnected on Wednesday 11th January. We fully understand residents frustrations but assure all this is being prioritised.


03/01/2012 - Weather damage

Following a routine inspection today we have noted the damaged fencing in the top car park at Alma Wood Close and the missing panel at the rear of Birch House. These will be attended to when the wind abates.

Please take care when entering bin stores if the doors have not been secured.
